Whindersson Nunes Batista spent his childhood days in Bom Jesus, Piauí, Brazil. He decided he wanted to make YouTube videos by the time he was fifteen. He made his own channel and started uploading.
But he could not get that many views in the beginning no matter what he tried. In 2012, He launched a parody video called ‘ Alô vó, tô reprovado‘ which was the first of his videos to go viral. the video reached five million views within a week of it being released.
Whindersson moved to Teresina after that. He did not have any place to stay. he was invited by Bob Nunes (fellow YouTuber) to stay with his family in the northern part of the city.
He uploaded many parody videos and vlogs on his channel. His channel was seeing steady growth.
But on 20 January 2013, his channel got hacked and deleted. After this happened, Whindersson Nunes created a new channel named ‘Whinderssonnunes‘ on 21 January 2013 which is the channel that he uses till this day.
