Arvind Krishna (born 1962) is the Chairman and CEO of IBM. He is an Indian-American business executive. Since April 2020, he has been the CEO of IBM, and in January 2021, he was named Chairman. Krishna joined IBM’s Thomas J. Watson Research Center in 1990 and rose through the ranks to Senior Vice President in 2015, overseeing the IBM Cloud & Cognitive Software and IBM Research businesses. He was a key architect of Red Hat’s purchase, which was the company’s largest acquisition ever.
